Requirements in Sweden
As employer you are also responsible to register your employees from day one to the Work Environment Authorities. If you do not report the posting or contact person in due time, you may have to pay a sanction fee of SEK 20 000 per posted worker.
The employer must according to §8 as soon as possible, but no later than in connection with commencement, notify in writing of a new workplace where the work volume is estimated to exceed 900 working hours.
When there is a particular need for increased working hours, overtime may be taken at a maximum of 48 hours per employee during a maximum of 200 hours or 50 hours during a calendar month, however with a maximum of 200 hours.
Workplace notification:
Missing a workplace notification often means that the union take out a fine of 10.000 SEK per missed notification.
